Investissement Québec - CRIQ carries out its R&D projects, tests, demonstrations, and specialized analyses using state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.
Here is a brief overview of a few of Investissement Québec - CRIQ’s facilities:
- 3D Printing laboratory
- Air and odour analysis laboratory
- Extraction pilot plant
- Multi-channel frequency analyzer for acoustic and vibration measurements
- Three equipment development workshops (30,000 square feet)
- Base for mechanical testing using actuators with varying capacities
- Métalaser welding centre (source: high-powered YAG laser)
- 3-metre anechoic chambers (emission and immunity) for electromagnetic compatibility tests (EMC)
- Data acquisition systems
- Altitude chamber
- Moisture chambers
- Chamber for HALT and HASS reliability testing
- Aeromedical certification testing equipment
- IP and NEMA seal testing chamber (water and dust)
- Additional test sites (DES, surge, transients, etc.) for European certification
